Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using ClipboardAI ("the App"), operated by ClipboardAI ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

ClipboardAI is a clipboard management application for iOS that provides:

• Automatic clipboard monitoring and history storage
• Smart content categorization (links, phone numbers, emails, addresses, codes, images)
• AI-powered features including math solving, text summarization, checklist parsing, and language detection
• Collections for organizing clipboard content
• A custom keyboard extension for quick access to clips
• Optional iCloud synchronization across devices

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use ClipboardAI. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Account and License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ClipboardAI on any Apple device that you own or control, subject to the Apple App Store Terms of Service. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent any security features or usage limitations

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier: ClipboardAI offers a free tier with limited functionality, including up to 5 saved clips and basic features.

Pro Subscription: ClipboardAI Pro unlocks unlimited clips, collections, AI features, keyboard extension, and iCloud sync. The Pro subscription is available as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription.

Payment Processing: All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. Subscription management, including pricing, payment, and renewal, is governed by Apple's terms.

Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.

Free Trials: If offered, free trial periods automatically convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial unless cancelled. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.

Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. Please contact Apple Support for refund inquiries.

5. User Content and Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the content you copy and store using ClipboardAI. You agree not to use the App to store, manage, or distribute:

• Content that infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Malicious code, malware, or harmful content
• Content that violates applicable laws or regulations

We do not monitor, review, or access the content you store in ClipboardAI, as all data is stored locally on your device.

6. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our use and collection of information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using ClipboardAI, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

ClipboardAI and its original content (excluding user-generated content), features, and functionality are owned by ClipboardAI and are protected by international copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

The ClipboardAI name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of ClipboardAI. You may not use such marks without our prior written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

ClipboardAI integrates with the following third-party services:

• Apple iCloud: For optional clipboard sync across devices, governed by Apple's terms
• RevenueCat: For subscription management, governed by RevenueCat's Terms of Service
• Apple App Store: For app distribution and payment processing, governed by Apple's terms

We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

ClipboardAI is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will function uninterrupted or error-free
• Results obtained from the App (including math calculations, summaries, and translations) will be accurate or reliable
• The App will meet your specific requirements
• Any data stored in the App will be preserved indefinitely

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall ClipboardAI, its developers, affiliates, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, profits, or revenue
• Loss of clipboard content
• Errors in math calculations, unit conversions, or AI-generated summaries
• Service interruptions or app unavailability
• Unauthorized access to your data

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ClipboardAI and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to ClipboardAI immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your license to use the App is immediately revoked
• You must delete the App from your devices
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will survive

You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the App and cancelling any active subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of ClipboardAI after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you through the App or other appropriate means.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ClipboardAI regarding the use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.
